Meat Free Monday.JPG

Air Miles

Check packages for air miles.

If its soft fruit it will have come by air as it degrades quickly i.e raspberries

Harder items and fruit will come by boat which burns less fuel and produces less carbon.  i.e. bananas

No food from an aeroplane. Is it robust enough to be on a boat for 3 weeks ? Bananas etc. If not, it will have been flown. If want, buy frozen.
